Pretty much everyone thinks that their cat is the strangest. They’re all odd! They’re either chasing spots of nothing around the room, attacking you from behind in the morning with an elbow drop from the top of the dresser or just plain trying to break your nose with a headbut in bed. A brief search around the internet certainly confirms this.

Take Steve at tannock.net who has two indoor cats, but describes one of his local cats thus: “He meowls, he growls, he moans, he throws himself bodily at the windows, and if they’re in the way, the blinds.” This cat seems to be terrorising the neighbourhood! “feebee”, who posts on the blog called feebeeglee doesn’t seem to be having much more luck, and describes her particular cat as being obsessing with knitting needles. “I’ve been missing a Bates 12in size 6 for weeks!” she growls through gritted teeth.

Mamacita (the poster on weekly scheiss) recalls her cat who would wrestle her to the ground if it could. “The cat is insane and keeps reaching up and actually wrapping a paw around my wrist and dragging my hand away from the keyboard; if he had opposable thumbs, I’d be on the floor with claw marks on my neck by now.” It’s the drug addiction, it seems, in this case: “I think those kitty treats are made of catnip and crack cocaine.”.

Perhaps the kitty over at the mysteriously called 041178 is experiencing the same withdrawl symptoms (”working from home has taught me one thing in particular, my cat is insane. she just tears around the house during the day and runs into stuff. cats are odd, man”). Indeed they are, as Cody in this sysop.ca entry knows only too well with the ninjitsu practising pussy.

To wrap up, an article that reveals the Non-Experts view on the matter may help us all. Reading it again, maybe not!
